PARISH MOVIE NIGHT - THERESE, Friday, July 30th at 7:00 p.m. in Big Mac (Note: this is a change of date)

This movie is about the story of St. Therese "the Little Flower" who died when she was only 24 after having lived as a cloistered Carmelite sister for less than ten years. She performed little acts of sacrifice, little secret humiliations and good deeds, she wanted to be a saint. St. Therese's "little way" of trusting in Jesus to make her holy and relying on small daily sacrifices intstead of great deeds appealed to the thousands of Catholics and others who were trying to find holiness in ordinatry lives. Her "little ways" are an inspiration to all. Hope you can join us!

PARISH GARAGE SALE COMING! Mark your calendars for August 6-8 (Friday- Sunday). This is a good time to look around your house and in the garage for items that you no longer use but would be of interest to others. More info to follow. SACK LUNCH WEEKEND RETURNS July 31-August 1. Sacks will be put out next weekend in the vestibule to be returned the following week with two sandwiches, fruit, chips and cookies. the sacks will then be delivered that Sunday to Volunteers of America who will distribute them to the needy in downtown Denver.
